Vision Screening (Grades 1–9)

Vision screenings will be conducted at school for students in grades 1–9 as part of routine school health services.

All odd grades (1, 3, 5, 7, 9) will be screened.
Some students in grades 2, 4, 6, and 8 may be re-screened as a follow-up from last year.
Screenings will take place during the school day.

This is a mandated health screening.
Parents may opt out only by submitting a handwritten note requesting that their child not be screened.

No action is needed if you want your child to participate.
