Registration Requirements

A valid e-mail account is required to register.

A $50.00 non-refundable per-child Registration Fee is due at the time of in-person registration or by calling the office to charge your card on file. Discounts for families with multiple children are not available.

Only debit or credit card payments are accepted. Payment must be made in person or by phone using a debit or credit card on file. Cash payments are not accepted. All Latchkey bills will be sent via electronic statements. Payments are only accepted Online.

All outstanding balances must be paid in full before registering online for MMSA Latchkey 2026-2027.

Students must be between Pre-K enrollment age and 12 years old.

Timeline

Registration opens Monday, June 2, 2026. Students registered before September 2026 may begin at the start of the school year. Students registered after the school year begins may start one week after completing registration, pending space availability and selected attendance dates.

Same-day registration and “Drop-In” Latchkey Services are not available.

Attendance & Scheduling

Students must be fully registered before attending Latchkey. Families must pre-select attendance dates and maintain a consistent weekly schedule. Schedule changes require a Change of Schedule Form be submitted to the Program director at least one week in advance. Families will be charged for all selected dates, regardless of attendance. Please only select dates your child will attend.

Before School Latchkey

Hours: 6:30 AM - Start of School
Cost: $7.00 per day, per child
Parents are responsible for transportation to school.

After-School Latchkey Program

Hours: End of School - 6:00PM
Cost: $10 per day, per child
Students must be picked up by 6:00PM

Same-day registration and “Drop-In” Latchkey Services are not available.

Late Pickup Fees

$1 for every minute from 6:00 PM until 6:15 PM.
$3 for every minute from 6:15 PM until 6:30 PM.

Macomb County Children Services will be notified if a child is not picked up by 6:30 PM or is picked up late on a regular basis.

Additional Information

Students must be enrolled at MMSA Dequindre to participate.
Latchkey is not available on early release days at this time.
Drop-in care is not permitted.
